Enjoy it while visiting Arches National Park in Utah
At Arches Visitor Center, located just a mile inside the entrance, you can begin your park adventure. Many recent visitors found the exhibits both inside and outside the center to be informative, providing valuable insights into the park’s history, geology, plants, and animals. Friendly rangers are ready to assist you in choosing where to explore and offer guidance on trails and safety precautions. Make sure to browse through the bookstore and gift shop during your visit. Don’t forget to catch the park’s film, “Window in Time,” which is screened every half hour. Children can engage in the junior ranger program by picking up an activity book and working towards earning a junior ranger badge. Additionally, the visitor center provides 24-hour access to water and restroom facilities, allowing you to refill your water bottles and take necessary breaks at any time.
The visitor center at the park is easily accessible and doesn’t require any additional fee apart from the park admission. It is conveniently situated near the main entrance, right inside the park. You can visit the center every day, except on Christmas Day when it remains closed. However, it’s important to note that the operating hours of the visitor center change based on the season. In the months of April through September, it opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. During the winter months, the hours are more limited. For detailed information, you can visit the NPS website.
