One World Observatory

A place like no other near New York City in New York

One World Observatory

One World Trade Center, previously called Freedom Tower, is the primary structure in the reconstructed World Trade Center complex situated in downtown Manhattan. It serves as an observatory on the top floors of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and also the highest point in the city. Right next to the 9/11 Memorial, this observatory spans three levels across an area exceeding 125,000 square feet. Visitors can relish breathtaking, all-encompassing views that stretch up to 45 miles in every direction on clear days.

The observatory can be reached by using special elevators called SkyPods. These express elevators provide a direct route to the top. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to see a visual presentation that depicts the transformation of New York City over the years. It starts from when the city was mostly open land, then progresses to the development of smaller buildings, and finally showcases the impressive skyscrapers that now dominate the skyline. The entire journey takes less than a minute, so it’s quite fast! Once you reach the top, get ready for a multimedia presentation that adds an extra touch of excitement before the breathtaking views of the city unfold before your eyes. Additionally, there is a restaurant and bar located on the 101st floor that welcomes guests who have purchased tickets to the observatory.
