This park is home to the house where Martin Luther King, Jr., the civil rights leader, was born and raised. A visit to the Ebenezer Baptist Church is also worthwhile, as it used to be the church where King served as a pastor. Gain insights into the desegregation of Atlanta’s Fire Department at Fire Station No. 6. Additionally, the Visitor Center offers captivating exhibits on the civil rights movement, along with the D.R.E.A.M. Gallery that showcases more exhibits. Adjacent to the Ebenezer Baptist Church is the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. In this center, you’ll find even more exhibits and the tombs of King and his wife, Coretta Scott King.
