Brooklyn Bridge Park

Brooklyn Bridge Park is a serene 85-acre haven situated on the Brooklyn side of the East River. It can be found at the base of the renowned bridge that links Manhattan and Brooklyn. This beautiful park extends for 1.3 miles along the waterfront of Brooklyn, joining Columbia Heights with Dumbo—a charming neighborhood known as Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. Dumbo is home to various boutiques, fashionable cafes, and delightful restaurants. Visitors are captivated by the breathtaking vistas of lower Manhattan’s mesmerizing skyline, the splendid New York Harbor, and, of course, the iconic bridge.

Brooklyn Bridge Park, one of the city’s newest parks, has a rich history. It was previously an industrial district and served as an entry point for immigrants through its transportation terminal. Now transformed, the park offers a range of attractions, including rolling hills, promenades, playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, a roller skating rink, gardens, and more. Additionally, the park boasts an impressive biodiversity with over 12,000 species of plants and wildlife. Throughout the year, visitors can enjoy various events and programs, such as sunset yoga and stargazing.
